Would these guidelines to Jean probably apply to similar, but
other than IBM  configerations?

I have a SystemTiger with 1.8gHz P4 desktop box (that came with
preactivated OEM XP-Home OS in its original 40 GB HD) that got
corrupted when I attempted to install a new linux SuSE 9.1 OS
in newly installed companion 160 gbz HD (where we had installed
my Win98se OS based clone via the Maxtor supplied software). We
did a partitial recovery by reinstalling my treasured Win98se
on the new 160 GB'er, to get through the winter holidays 8-)

Some stormy day I hope to temporarly remove the new 160 GB'er.
Plug in the original 40 GB'er and restore the XP-Home; so your
commentaries are being saved for then when. If the recovery is
successfull I will reinstall the 160 GB'er companion and then
coupe with overcoming the 120 GB available media limitation.

(I have wondered if I have PartitonIt devide it in half for the
Win98se OS in as FAT 32 and the other half for my old SuSE 9.0
linux OS, might accomplish full 160 GB total use ?-)
