I honestly don't remember which player it worked with the last time I went
through the motions.  Once I had it set up correctly it streamed the music just
as it does in Windows.

Seems like you did real well in getting things to work.  Anyway, it's fun to
give it a try even if you don't want to keep using Ubuntu or any other Linux
distro.  I haven't done very much lately in Linux because I'm focusing more on
learning and using OS X.

So can any other.  Besides, using encryption on one's system unless it's
absolutely necessary to protect sensitive data can lead to a disaster if the
key is lost.  I've read so many sad stories on the WinXP forums of individuals
who encrypted their systems and either lost the key or the key they used
doesn't work to decrypt the data.  If you can't decrypt your data it's just
like you ran it through a shredder. :(
