It's been a while since I did this-- and I only did it once, so I'm a little
vague. I THINK it offered categories (Applications, Documents, etc) and let me
just click for it to try and move them all-- but also had options to drill down
and select or de-select individual items within each category if desired.

I'm not a TI user, so I can't comment on how it compares-- but my understand
was that they did different things; TI is for making an image, presumably of an
entire hard drive, for backup or for cloning it (operating system and all) to
another piece of hardware. PCMover doesn't make an image, and doesn't copy over
the operating system...

Still haven't opened the installer and looked-- but I'll bet that the people
saying that it was only free for buyers of the paid PCMover version are
correct.
