Ärende: CD vs DVD.

    Hello Jeff, it is nearly freezing here, + 10 C ! (50 F)

 JG> This begs the question - can you boot from it?  Exactly what do you

        I do not recall if I booted from it, maybe I just opened up
   the DVD after the burn and 2-clicked on the .exe. As per above, the
   DVD ran means that I was able to use it to load U'U as a second
   boot on the Vista and it is good, I can pick it on turning the
   system ON, as a choice between it and Vista.

 JG> I doubt the CD would work unless it  specifically includes Vista

        That printer is running fine when using Vista, Jeff. It is on
   U'U that it refuses to work. From memory, it shows that it sees
   the 605 but will not print from it. I thought that you had once
   said that if Vista saw it then U'U would also. Everything else that
   Vista uses, U'U does. When checking the "Printing" in U'U, it shows
   the 605. I forget what it says when trying to print, it comes up
   with a notice that there is something missing. All these statements
   are loose as I am not on that machine now. See my post to Alan.

        Hey ! hey ! I caught that wrap of the digit 5 when copying
   from BW to the URL line. I did not find anything new there as I
   still have the CD for that printer. Can I use the Linux driver in
   U'U ? Maybe this would solve the problem.
