I don't have the Win computer on at the moment, but I _think_ it was set
for the maximum - 32 bit color...

I vaguely recall the interlaced term from when I was doing AutoCAD, but
that was a great many years ago.  <g>  I've forgotten more than I use to
remember. <vBg>

I did do a very quick check of the Event Viewer in Applications and then in
Systems.  On one screen, I had the Event Viewer and on the other screen,
the desktop application.  Every time I tried to load a .JPG file as desktop
wallpaper, I would hit the "Refresh" for the Event Viewer.  After multiple
attempts, nothing was displayed in either Apps or Sys...  (Can loading a
.jpg file as desktop wallpaper be classified as an event?)
