No I didn't.

Besides being a Tagline Thief, I also have saved some ASCII graphics
that people have put with their signature at the bottom of FIDO messages
in some of the other echos that I visit.

I have also been on the ASCII_ART echo and found some interesting ASCII
graphics.

Whoever made the picture with the CHRISTmas Tree, Train, wrapped
presents and all the greetings in various languages needs to be
complimented, not me.

When I first viewed the graphic in Notepad, it looked terrible because I
had Notepad set up for Times New Roman 14 point font.

I changed it to Courier New (which I remember someone writing about that
it is a font that all the characters are the same width, as DOS ASCII
is) and that straightened out the graphics so that the tree wasn't
distorted.

I'm glad you enjoyed it, I got several email replies about the greetings
that I sent out to every person whose email address I have in my address
book.

The only two languages in the graphic that I knew were right were
American English and the Spanish greeting for Merry CHRISTmas,
everything else I hoped the original author of the graphic knew what
(s)he was doing.

The VuPoint Digital Convertor (as they call it) takes only a second or
two to capture the image to its GUI software.

I can store up to 12 captured images maximum before I have to Transfer
the image(s) to the hard drive.

The software that comes on the CD that they want me to use is Arc Soft
Photo Impression 6.

To start using the VuPoint box I start P I 6 and select what capture
device I want to use and then start my work, when the images are
transfered to the hard drive I can select one of them at a time to work
on in P I 6.

I haven't tried IRFANVIEW with the new (to me) device.
I have used Irfanview some and think I might prefer using it instead of
P I 6 that came with the device.

I will look at your scanner at www.scanace.com to see what it looks
like.

I tried to see the Digital Converter at http://www.vupointsolutions.com
and played around with the site a while until I finally decided to use
the Search line on the page to look for VuPoint Solutions and it took me
to a listing of a few sites that IT THOUGHT I might want to look at.

One of the URLs was for the National Geographics organization review of
the device that I own, so I clicked on it and Eureka! there it was in
full color.   ;-)
