I can't even begin to state how many times True Image saved me from a loss of
data or even total disaster.  I still use it to back up my Toshiba notebook and
my daughter's machine (when she isn't around).

Nothing like TI for the Mac though.  The closest I've found is a program called
"Carbon Copy Cloner" which clones (I know you love that word) the entire Mac
hard drive to an external hard drive.  At the same time it renders the external
bootable which comes in handy to do a total restore.

The Leopard operating system also has a built in backup program called Time
Machine, however, I don't like to use it.
