	That I did. Also when my DiL lost her HD, nogo, she had to wait 3 weeks sans
her Mac and $300.00. The young niece also got my offer, I had fixed her Dad
Dell before but the reputation in Mac repairs is hard to establish. I still do
not know what the problem is if there is a problem or SUEs.

	I am aware of eBay as a source for FRUs but a MoBo is not really FRU. I have
repaired two MoBos up to now that were good, just mechanically damaged, but
still no run of the mill home-fixer could find the break in the fine traces.

	This I am not, just the way that most of them think and hold their machine in
high esteem, they are no better nor worst than a PC. The machine, I mean, the
users are different. At least the ones around here, I think Texas does fine in
this regards.

	Fun ? Yes indeed, doing all kinds of handywork and not being paid for it all.
Carpentry, telephone line laying to new connection, weeding the beds, setting
up new birdhouses, you name it, it is done.
