	Having friends in high places always helps. I am about to bug one now for an
up-to-date Streets and Maps, mine is the 2004 version.

	I think that when first using this U'u CD that you sent me, thanks, the option
to run it in windows was like a "virtuous" mode. It ran but it was noticeably
slow. I then installed it fully on another machine running XP and got the Boot
Manger along with the gag. Now, when booting to W-7, I again get a BM, it
offers W-7 and Vista but I get W-7 all the time regardless of the choice
selected. Where does it get the notion that Vista is present, it is not.

	I do not miss much by not running any virtual machine, my use of a machine is
simple enough. I fix them more than I use them. My friend's Vista will need
some TLC soon, he is away at his summer place for the time being. His Vista,
says he, will not even boot now, if anybody can mess up a machine, he sure can.
He is the one who had a new machine replaced by Best Buy. What has he done now
?

	Your suspicions are proper. My AV is Avast, free. I do not do any game playing
at all, maybe Solitaire once in a blue-moon. I use the old Win-95 version,
copied to Win-7 with the necessary folders.
