Glad you're back.  I knew you took along a machine to stay in touch and was
wondering why you hadn't been responding.

Buying a netbook is tempting.  I kind of like the one Alan took along to Rome. 
I also like several by HP.

Loading OS X on a netbook seems to be the latest craze going on with them. 
There's an entire forum dedicated to "Hackintoshes".  One guy was even boasting
that he not only installed Leopard on his netbook, but was able to get it to
dual boot with XP.  And there's an outfit in Taiwan that will sell you a
netbook with Leopard OS X already pre-installed.

Anyway, have fun in the boonies and stay in contact.
