I hadn't heard any details about the Mini 10- other than that it was regarded
as less 'Hackintosh-able' than the Mini 9.

A Google search for 'Dell Mini 10 maximum RAM' got a number of hits including:

All suggest it's got a 1 GB limitation. Moreover, on a Dell Community

there's the statement:

"The CPU/ GPU/ RAM are all on the same card, which is then put into a DDR2
memory slot. When and "if" dell releases something to increase the ram size, it
will be quite expensive since you'll be replacing ram, cpu, and gpu all in one
step."

Doesn't sound good.

Though the Mini 9 is presumably no longer available, it seems to pop up on Dell
US (only) website from time to time- I just checked and it's there right now:
