Eye candy matters not at all to me.

This computer is 3 gig, and 2.x dual processor.  My other one is 1 gig,
also 2.x processor, but single.

I did download and run an upgrade advisor -- and it made me wonder about
some applications.

I have an HP 1320, B&W Laser.  Don't recall what the advisor said about
it.

Decent point -- even might make the upgrade a tax deduction for you.

Since that will give me 8 years + on one computer and a few more on the
other one, probably good enough.
