Paul,

I've only dabbled in U'u 7.04 a bit.

I have burned U'u 10.04 to a CD but haven't looked at it yet,
You know, that ROUNDTUIT thing again.

I'm only familiar with maybe 3 or 4 Linux programs in U'u 7.04,
sorry I can't help You any.

I lurk in the FIDO Debian, Linux, Linux Ubuntu and Linux BBS echos but
hardly ever post a msg in those echos.

I've only posted messages in the Linux echo and that has been very
infrequently.

Maybe You can find some info on gxine and XnView there?

PQ>DEBUG.) I haven't used it all and need a bit of a nudge...

At a Cmd prompt type debug and press Enter.

All You will see is a hyphen at the left side of the screen.

Would You know if there is a U'u command simuliar (sp?) to DEBUG?

 EV> I was a U.S. Navy Radioman.

Excellent! You have a little special something in common with Miles
Maxted.
:)

DIT DAH DIT (the letter R for ROGER).

I wonder if Miles is a Amateur Radio Operator (Ham) as I am.

My callsign is W9ODR .

PQ>> already translated the hole punches into ASCII in his head!
EV> When I was in the Service we used the 5-level BAUDOT Code from our
EV> TeleType Machines I couldn't read the hole code, but I could read
 the
EV> Alphanumeric Characters printed on the edge of the punched tape.

Mmm... Now I wonder if the guy cheated. He never showed me the tape
close-up.
I wouldn't put it past him to try to 'pull the wool'; them signallers
can be
shifty types, you know. ;-)

DIT DAH DIT ! ! ! ! ! ! ;-)

... I only started a BBS to save on the phone bill.

I Love the Tagline You used so much it has been added to my collection.

Thanks!
