I wasn't in the market for a computer when the Apple I sold for
US$666.66.

Around that time I was using a Netronics ASCII Keyboard & Video Terminal
Board as a Radio Teletype Terminal on Amateur (Ham) Radio.

The Netronics Video Terminal Board used a Fairchild processor IIRC.

It would work on RTTY at 60 and 100 WPM and on ASCII at 110 and 300
baud (BPS), I was able to use it on the three lower speed settings but
never could get the 300 baud setting to work.

There was one person who had a Apple ][ hooked up as a Ham Radio BBS
that I could use just as I use FIDO now to read and leave messages.

While looking over the Netronics, Atari, Commodore, Texas Instruments
and Apple ][ computers trying to decide what I wanted to get, another
Ham Friend with a Apple ][ was urging me to get one also but US$800 was
too steep for me so I got a C=64 and C=1541 Floppy Drive and C=300 baud
modem at around US$500.

I still have the Netronics ASCII Terminal but it hasn't been used in
years.  Are they worth anything?
