I only have knowledge about what Arco does it, except for a few small
indepedents they set the low price for gas here And they are somewhat
open about it. Their bqsic pricing policy factors in two points. Demand
and What the traffic will bear. As an example they inch up prices until
the sales volume starts falling off and them hold it there. Of course
Holidays always get special prices as they know the demand will rise.
There is also a factor for the Affulence for the Neighborhood. The
richer neighborhoods typically pay more.
