The other day when I helped my sister with her 64bit w7 box I noticed in
Computer that there were two Program Files sections in the C:\ root
directory.

The second one had (x86) after the name.

Looks like that second one was for 32bit programs and the first one was
for 64bit programs.

I had first tried to use Windows Explorer but it opened up to a Library
window, so I used Computer instead so I could look around on her hard
drive.

The Library is new to me and I had no idea of its inter working with W7.

Have You had much experience using the Library on Your W7 boxes?

Do You like using the Library?

Its all confusing to me.

I wish MS would go back to letting programmers use .INI files instead of
putting everything in the Registry, so a snoopy person like me can
easily root around in the settings to see whats what with the programs
settings etc.... And learn a little about computeing.

But they never have asked me for any advise yet, and probably won't.

I dragged my feet for a while before I finally got this XP box in
mid-2006.   I wanted to see how others responded to the changes from
W98SE/WME to the newer WXP OS before I committed myself to jumping in
with the XP crowd.

I have been satisfied since I purchased the box.

I appreciate all the comments I read here in WIN95 before I spent my
money.  Thanks to All!
