Jean,

One thing that I really like about the Concise edition of the Power
Bible (PB) is it included the Treasury of Scripture Knowledge (TSK).

I bought a copy of the TSK Book in the early 1960's at a Christian
Servicemens Center in the Western Pacific, either the Phillipines or
Japan, because it looked like an expanded center line crossreference
like my Bible had but with much more crossreferences and explanations
spread through the pages of the TSK.

I got my copy of the TSK out and compared what the computer TSK had and
the TSK book had.

Where in the book only scripture references are given like Ge 1.1,
the computer edition shows the Ge 1.1, but I can hover the mouse cursor
over the reference and the full KJV text is displayed.

The PB is a keeper!

My Online Bible (OLB), DOS Version 6.11 has the TSK as part of it also,
but it only shows the KJV Bible text of the References,
but not the explanatory notes that is in the TSK book.

The PB has it all!

I like moving the mouse cursor from verse reference to verse reference
and being able to read the KJV Bible Text, instead of having to Thumb
through the pages of my Bible to go from reference to reference.

Sometimes when I hover the cursor over a reference the pop up window
with the text will time out and I have to wiggle the mouse a bit so I
can continue reading the rest of the text.

While I was waiting for the PB CD to come in the mail I went to the PB
web site and read something about an update for it that will keep the
pop up text open until I move the cursor away from the reference.

I don't know if that update will work with the Concise edition or if it
is just for the Full edition.

I was wondering if You have downloaded that update and tried it out on
the computer that you have the PB on?

If You haven't I will get it and try it out and report back to You about
it.

The pop up text timing out doesn't aggrevate me because I know that
Computer Programmers can't think of everything when they create a
program.

The PB folks did a Bang Up Job of programming the way I see it.

I Again Thank You Very Much for thinking of sending the PB CD to me.

You might notice above where I typed Ge 1.1, I used a Shortcut to enter
a Bible reference that I want to open up in the PB, I use a . (Period,
Dot) between the Chapter and Verse instead of a : (Colon).

That is a trick I learned from the DOS Online Bible for entering verses
that I want the OLB to open up to a certain verse, and I found out the
PB accepts it also.

If You've never tried it, try it the next time that You use your copy
of the PB, I think it is a real time saver.
