I sent a reply to Sean Dennis earlier today at 17:27 with the
instructions of how to check the "Printer Preferences..." setting,
maybe You have already read it and tried it for yourself.

Let me know what You see in the Printer Preferences window.

In Notepad I use it by clicking File - Print... and then clicking the
Print button at the bottom of the Print window.

XP Notepad doesn't have a File - Print Preview option in it as FF and TB
and some other programs/applications have.

I like using it the way I have it set up for my Epson (ink Jet AIO
printer), works for me.   ;-)

As I said to Jerry, it helps me save on paper and ink.

Yes, some applications do have a Print Preview option on the File Menu
but I think 'that' Print Preview is a bit different Print Preview than
the one that I am talking about setting as a DEFAULT.    ;-)

Thanks for the explanation for CQFD, I never thought about looking it up
using a Search Engine.

Later: I just came back from ask.com and found out that CQFD and the
translation You gave for it is a phrase from a song.

It was in the fourth result in the list, not the first, but at least I
found it.
