When I'm Writing a email in TB 3.1.4 there is a Button with the word
"Attach" on it, just above the Text area on the screen. I click that
Button and Select the file(s) I want to include in the email.

Once in a while Folks that ask me how to do something in/with/to a
Windows program, I will first try to tell them what I have learned about
the subject, then I will tell them to look at the Line Below the Title
Bar on their Screen that has the words "File Edit" etc., and to click on
the word "Help" at the right end of that series of words so they can
learn some of the things about the program for themselves.

I have other Friends that have Gmail addresses in my TB Address Book.

I use email that came along with the DSL contract that I have with the
Telephone Company so I can send and receive emails.

I could use Gmail if I wanted to, but right now I don't want another
email service to have to check often for mail.

I still check my Free (10 Minutes/Month) Juno account to see if someone
I gave that address to long ago has sent something to me, but I only
check for Juno email 2 or 3 times a month since all I normally see in
the account is advertisements and spam.

Yesterday, for instance, when I was sending the photos out via email,
I used the CLI to go to the directory where the photos were in and then
typed:

dir > filename.txt

to make a text file that I could print out to see the Size of each photo
file, so when I Attached them to a email the emails wouldn't be real
large, the largest email I sent yesterday was 5400KB.

It took 17 emails to send the whole set of 46 photos yesterday. Whew!

I've noticed that 'feature' too whenever I type the work 'attach' in a
email using TB 3.1.4 , so I just click on the X mark on the right side
of that line to close it.

Quirks are what makes using a computer interesting!

It's nice to see that I'm not the only one a computer plays around with.
