Actauly As I recall it Clones Sector by Sector. But stil you only need a
little larger HD then reported in Dard Drive Properties.

On my old Gateway it was like that but the newer Netbooks are NOT. The
HD is buried soemwghare under the keyboard and major disassemble is
required. In my Acer EePC I cannot even see how to open the case. There
are no screws to be seen.

Incidently the latest PC Wrold Magazine has a review of the UltraBook
computers(Mac Air Clones) and the best ones are quite close to the MAC
prices. That says something to me, IE: the Mac Air is NOT as overpriced
as the PC lovers try to make it. One thing soem of thenm did to hold the
price does was to short change you on Battery Running time. Something
very important to some.
Along that like the magazine also did a Survey of Airport Laptop
features. Most came up short particualrly on Electrical outlets or USB
charging ports.
