Tom,

I may be the cause of all of Jeans confusion because I call what I use
TI for a "Back Up", which is what IIRC TI calls it on the opening
screen, when I type messages to Him about my use of TI.

My use of a External HD that is formatted for FAT-32 causes the .TIF
file to be made in several 4 GB portions instead of all one piece as
Jeans use of a dedicated Replaceable HD does.

Makes me wonder if "I" Merged all the portions into One File if it would
be the same data as if it had been saved on a HD with a NTFS format?

Jeans arrangement is to Physically Replace the HD.

You and Me just have to use TI to Restore the data to a HD in the box.

Sure it takes more time to let Gobs of data get transferred to the HD in
the box, but the same thing is done, ALL of the data in the 'BackUp'
gets Restored.

We use ONE External HD to keep 'Back Ups' for several computers on it.
