Jean,

The copy of Acronis True Image I use is version 10.0 HOME (not 2010),
Copyright @ 2000-2006.

I got it in May 2007.

There's no need for You to change the procedure that You use.

Here is the procedure that I use:

1. I log on an Administrative Users Account.

2. Double-Click the TrueImage desktop icon.

3. Under "Pick a task" I point the mouse curson to the Backup section
   and click.

4. The "Create Backup Wizard" opens and I click Next.

5. I select the My Computer option in the "Select Backup Type" screen.

6. On the "Partition Selection" sereen, C: is already chosen,
   I also click the box for D: , Next.

7. The "Information Window" opens and after reading it I click OK.

8. The "Backup Archive Lcation" opens, I double-click on My Computer,
   select the Drive and Directory, and then click on the Create button,
   Enter the Folder Name, OK, Filename, Next.

I stopped there because I wasn't making a Backup just now.

I kept TI open and looked around it a bit.

I clicked on Operations on the Menu Bar and saw the Clone Disk option.

I went through the Clone Disk procedure a bit to see the screens but I
didn't do a Clone.

I clicked on Tools  -  Options... and looked around.

On "Default Backup Options", I changed "Backup Priority" from Low to
High.

On "Default Restoration Options", I changed "Restoration Priority" from
Low to High.

I changed those settings because when I make a TI Backup I don't do
anything else on the computer.

On "Additional Settings", the box for "Set current date and time for
restoring files" was checked.

I'm not sure I like that setting so I may change it later on.
