i have no clue but i would suspect the battery cannot provide the necessary
amps or voltage over time...

i would test the memory via memtest86+ for several full rounds to see if it is
the memory that's the problem...

possibly a bad cell... remember how we've seen batteried build up a "wall" in
them so they seem to be fully charged when they are not?

as i understand it, the grid is used all the time and the battery trickle
charged... it may be possible that something in the circut after the battery
feeding to the system is damaged and gaking out when off the grid... possibly
heat related... maybe even a cold joint that moves when the heat is enough??

is it freezing or dieing? freezing as in everything goes still on the screen
and dieing as in powering off...
