While the book and program itsenf is long gone I still have my 12 360
Floppy Back up set for LOTUS 123 V 2.2

It was really Overkill or me and I went with a far simpler program form
Express Ware. Besides teh Database program they I also used Express
Graph and STILL use the DOS Wxpress Check Book program.

On the simple Checkbook program it was not Y2K compatable but al lI did
was create a new Checkbook, but still have the 99 and prior data, using
00 as the year.

That is mycomplaint quite often. As they add super features they dropp
the Ond simple way of doing soem things. An example is making sinmple
Calanrars. I was making up a simple AM/PM wrok schedule for a volunterer
group in Wordperfect 6.1 F/Win. It was a fairly simple and east task.
Particualrly line drawing to seperate the AM/PM shifts .Set a starting
poing and set the line length and yuo were done. When I was froced to
leave WP and go with a later version of MS Word those simple talks
became a nightmare.
The same held true of creating Tables. FAR more comples then my needs
under MS wrod the nthe old WP and MS Word dosen't have the simple built
in Data base for things like Names, Address and CDontact telephone
numbers. Yuo had to either createt it in the MS Spreadsheet or Database
i nthe Full MS Office Suite.
