Floppies and CD's both can present those same inconsistency

Due to several problems:

1.) poor quality of the Media
    a.) Some discount Media have a 10% or more failure rate
        right out of a New Box..

    b.) some brands of Media work better of some brands
        of Floppy drives or CD Drives than others..

2.) If the Floppy drive head is dirty or gets mis-aligned
    Media writen on it, may ONLY be re-able on that drive
    and not be readable on other drives..

3.) I've experienced similar inconsistencies with CD written on
    one brand of CDRW that are not readable on another CD..


    is it the Media written to, or the Drive that was used
    to write it..??
