Actually, I like to read eBooks on my palm pilot.  The last one I read 
was At All Costs, by David Weber (if you ever thought that the Honor 
Harrington books have too many characters, this book takes care of THAT 
problem for you).  The only problem is, the best PDAs for reading eBooks 
were the old Sony Clies with their "Jog Wheel" that was mounted on the 
left edge of the device, near the top, so you could easily use it with a 
thumb while holding the device one-handed.

Sony stopped making PDAs a few years ago, and apparantly nobody else has 
picked up the jog wheel idea, so on my Palm Zire, to scroll through 
documents, I have to use the 5-way button on the front, which is akward 
while holding the PDA one-handed.  Also, for some reason, it's 
impossible to read the screen on my Zire outside on a sunny day, 
compared to the screen on my old monochrome Clie.
