If this were an issue that could be solved through incremental action,
I might agree with you, but we have delayed so long that if we are to
avoid extraordinary costs, we have to act with great rapidity and
great efficiency, taking advantage of all the most economical and
practical means to reduce warming.

Too many people don't read the newspaper, or are taken in for a time
by industry propaganda. The public does catch on eventually, but we
don't have time for Al Gore to bore everyone in the country. And
people just don't know what the possibilities and options are. No one
has the time to research all the choices that have to be made, even
when there is a choice -- and frequently there isn't, not in the time
frame in which we need it.
