Well those hundred would have to be limited to sub launched to be a 
deterrent. If they were all land based withing 50 years or so we will 
have a very effective anti-missile shield against sub-orbital 
trajectories. Sub-based missiles can be fired in a "flat" trajectory 
from a near shore launch and there isn't really any anti-missile tech 
that can stop it.
