I just wanted to say this, and since this is one of the posts left on
my newreader with the word "propaganda" in it, I figure it's as good a
place as any...

Anyhow, on my weekly errands this morning, I had to stop at my bank to
deposit some checks. There was a "watercooler" discussion going on in
the desk area (you know, the place where the non-teller bank workers
do their thing), and one woman was discussing the 9/11 attacks, and
using the talking points from the documentary *as if they were
RealFact*. :-/

So, the disclaimers were about as effective as Orson Welles' were
during the "War of the Worlds" broadcast. Sheeple still came away from
that miniseries thinking they are getting the "truth". So, I think
those of us who raised a stink were right to do so, even if it doesn't
seem to have had much of an effect on the general population.
