I think you'll find the Omega's armament isn't that simple.  The turrets on 
a standard Omega have never shot beam weapons.  Shadow-Omegas, different 
story.

Sierra's B5: Into the Fire game used the following schema for the Omega:

Forward: 2 combined Heavy Laser/Heavy Plasma Cannon
12 Turrets each mounting one Medium Plasma Cannon
Aft-top: 2 combined Heavy Laser/Heavy Plasma Cannon
Aft-Bottom 2 Heavy Plasma Cannon.

I do not believe The Omega class ever used particle weapons of any sort. 
Not even the Shadow-Omegas.  IIRC, only ship to mount them is the Warlock. 
My writeup of the weaponry for the Warlock class includes a single huge 
particle cannon main gun, but notes that these weapons were previously only 
found on planetary Defense Grid units.  The Warlock is the first EA ship 
capable of mounting them.

Were the Omega's lasers ever said to be X-Ray lasers?  They're visible under 
normal combat conditions...

Sierra's game sets the fighter capacity significantly lower at 14 total 
fighters.  Sierra borrowed heavily from the first B5 RPG (not the Mongoose 
one) so if they got something wrong, we probably got it wrong.


The Shadow Omegas:

Fusion Beam weapons technology?  You mean those blue-tint lasers and plasma 
weapons the Shadow-Omegas used?  Their usage on the show suggested to me 
advanced versions of standard EarthForce technology.  More-compact and 
powerful lasers, and/or plasma weapons, not entirely new technology.  My 
writeup on the Warlock does not mention fusion beam weapons.  I have no 
pedigree for it (I got it from ItF's Lead Artist.  Dunno where he got it 
from but it was presented to me as canonical) so your source might be 
better.

Earth cracked Minbari stealth well enough to *duplicate* it?

I admit it's been a while since I've seen "between the Darkness and the 
Light" so I may be rusty on some continuity points.  That's why I ask about 
sources.
