That's what I'm hoping, but there's also the possibility that they're 
bringing in ringers, guest judges.  I'd hope, though, that there was some 
kind of logging going on, where they have some idea who was holding steady in 
the top ten for a long time, who just popped up out of nowhere, etc.  I'd 
like to think that the people in the office up in Buffalo were actually 
following the contest, possibly enjoying it, and even making up nicknames for 
the entrants, too.  :-)

It's all over now -- and I ended up sixth or seventh, depending on how 
closely those numbers by the pictures reflect the reality of your score.  The 
girl below me actually has a hundredth of a point more than me, but I wonder 
if there's a more accurate number behind the scenes, and maybe I'm actually a 
bit ahead of her.  Anyway, I thought it was notable that I am the oldest 
entry to have finished in the top ten.  Terrier girl entered about a week 
after me.  So, our final top tens are:

1. Sombrero Girl
2. Terrier Girl
3. Doe-Eyed Latecomer
4. Bland Blonde Blur (look at the photo on the right; something is blurry 
there!)
5. Redhead/Slinky Dishwater
6. Me (no nickname necessary <g>)
7. Indian Girl w/Bad Perm
8. Horsey (long face, long hair)
9. Under-Grandma (I call her that because of the two grandma shots that were 
often in the Top 10, she was usually right below me)
10. Mannequin Girl

I'm really pleased that no one with a baby picture or a wig or a semi-porn 
picture finished in the top ten (although I do think that the bikini girl 
with the tag had a great "before" picture, and could very well end up being a 
finalist).  Also, that one I'd dubbed "Cheater Girl" didn't, either (she had 
two entries that were sometimes BOTH in the top ten at the same time -- in 
one of her "afters," she was wearing a fur stole, ugh).  And, also that 
redheaded pigtails-in-the-air woman didn't finish in the top.  She kept 
sneaking onto the top ten -- with her two pictures taken ten seconds apart, 
and holding Finesse products in the after picture!

I'm going to try to find my post that gave my list of most worthy entrants -- 
this is back from when there were only about 300 entrants, but I'm curious to 
see if any of my picks get into the finalist leg of the contest.  I'm 
guessing it'll take them some weeks to sift through all of the entries; I'd 
love to know the criteria they're giving the interns to sort by!

I don't know about the rest of you, but I am SO glad that this is (basically) 
over!  :-p
