   A guy I have worked with is an avid golfer.   He has played at a lot
   of places, including Saint Andrews in Scotland.   I think that he has
   established a goal of shooting his age.   Although I don't know his
   handicap, I think that ge might actually make it someday!

   I tried golf when I was in college.   I got to the point where I
   might be able to break 100 --- on the front nine.   In the end, we
   gave it up because it got too frustrating.


MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.05
 
      Title: Brunswick Stew
 Categories: Stew, Main dish, Chicken, Beef, Ground beef
      Yield: 1 servings
 
  3 1/2 lb Chicken, cut up
      2 sl Bacon, cut into 2 inch
           -pieces
      1 lg Onion. sliced
      1 ts + 2 tsp salt
     28 oz Can whole tomatoes OR 3 lg
           -fresh tomatoes, peeled
      2 lg Potatoes, cubed
     10 oz Pkg frozen butter beans, OR
      1 c  Fresh
    1/2 ts Sugar
    1/2 ts Black pepper
           -Dash red pepper
     16 oz Pkg frozen corn
      2 tb Butter, melted
      2 tb Flour
 
  In a 5 quart heavy pot place 1 quart of water, the chicken,
  bacon, onion and 1 tsp of salt, and cook for 1 1/2 hours over
  mdm-low heat.  Remove the chicken, cool; skin and remove the meat
  from the bones.  Cut the meat into bite size pieces and return to
  the pot.  Add 2 tsp salt, tomatoes, potatoes, butter beans,
  sugar, and peppers. Cook for 30 minutes.  Add the corn and cook
  for another 30 minutes.  Mix the butter and flour and add to the
  stew; simmer for 30 minutes more. Serve with hot rolls and a
  green salad.
