Pulled pork maybe?  Then his favorite BBQ sauce added in?  If you make a

True and I've seen alot of Japan in bits and pieces.  That and other places
where I tend to wander off to the 'unique' parts with my buddies.  Amazing
I've not managed to get 'sick' even once from any of the various foods all
over Asia in those little hidden places I keep stumbling into.  No 'traveller
trots' at all.

BTW, I take back that i don't like Chicken Breast.  There's one way I love it.
Shredded and served raw with sauce.  Yummy!  Not for everyone here I know but
it's very good.  Thats one time where the dark meat isnt nearly as good.  I
restrict that one though to Japan where I trust the restraunts.

I wonder if a google for 'raw chicken recipe japan' would show something? 
Might try that later today.

I'm happy it turned out well overall in the end.  It was a bit dicy there for a

Humm.  Ok.  Havent a memory of those nor have i seen what that might be out
here.  Then again, 'station wagon shrunk in the wash' does match some things
out here where smaller is better.

There's a big common theme here at home for balance and harmony in the looks of
things.

One piece of furniture we have, gets rave reviews from the Japanese.  It's my
antique china cabinet with solid wood doors (no glass) on tall claw feet.  The
doors are hand painted with a design but the two are not quite the same (and
one has been inexpertly 'repaired' if you look close).  The other is a sort of
'credenza' I guess, that Don refinished.  The doors have a natural pattern
that looks like a wolf head staring at his toes.  Not a true antique, but sure
looks like it except for the hardware on the doors (very 50's look there in a
completely plain brass).  It's our TV holder here and DVD/VCR tapes hidden
inside the cavernous cabinet.  Japanese household goods movers are careful,
but those two pieces they handled with positive reverence, especially the
china cabinet.
