Makes sense.  Considering most of the time I've ridden just ferris
wheels and only at local carnivals (only a few at permanent locations),
I'm doing pretty well.

We got a good sized set including 6 steak knives for what we paid for
the last couple of knives we've bought.  But, it was not a quality set
and a lot of knives are the type you use very rarely.

You'll acquite a good set, bit by bit. But just take it easy; knives
generally aren't that breakable (except the handle).

Just get a wire guitar string and wrap the ends around wooden handles
(couple of small lengths of dowel).  That'll make you a nice wire cheese
cutter.

Well, this was the bread knife (used a lot in our household) and better
than the one we had so..............

Very true.  That's why my sewing machines go in for tune ups on a
regular basis.
