Ärende: QWK compression fixed

 Well, that might explain a big packet I had to trash
 a few weeks back because I couldn't fix it. Anyone
 who sent me a reply a bit ago and never got an answer,
 I did lose a 100+ packet. But Sean, I have
 occasionally had such problems with other
 packets over the years from other BBS's. I
 never thought to blame the BBS for it, but
 assumed some sort of transmission error. We don't
 always know to complain to a sysop for a specific
 error, because transmission errors are a fact of
 life as far as we know. Also, if you see me dropping
 carrier unexpectedly, it might be my system doing
 bad things, it's pretty unstable sometimes.
 On the other end, some of us are just doing the
 best we can, also, don't assume insult!

MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.05

      Title: Chicken Curry with Golden Ginger Apples
 Categories: Poultry, Main dish, Fruits
      Yield: 6 Servings

    1/2 c  Onion, chopped
      1 ea Garlic clove, minced
      3 tb Butter or margarine
      2 t  Curry powder
      1 c  Golden Delicious apples,
           -cored and finely chopped
    1/2 c  Celery, chopped
    1/4 c  Flour
      1 c  Chicken broth
    3/4 c  Milk
    3/4 t  Salt
      2 c  Chicken, diced cooked
      1 ea Hot cooked rice
      1 ea Golden Ginger Apples

  Saute onion and garlic in butter or margarine with curry powder until
  tender. Add chopped apples and celery; cook 2 or 3 minutes longer.
  Blend in flour. Add broth, milk and salt. Cook, stirring constantly,
  until thickened and smooth. Add chicken and heat through. Serve over
  rice, with Golden Ginger Apples.

      Title: GOLDEN GINGER APPLES
 Categories: Apples, Go-with
      Yield: 6 Servings

           2 Tbsp butter or margarine
           3 tbsp sugar
           1 tsp ginger (powdered)
           3 Tbsp water
           1 tbsp lemon juice
           1 dash salt

  3 lge Golden Delicious apples, peeled, cored, cut into wedges

  Melt butter in large skillet. Add sugar, ginger, water, lemon juice
  and salt. Add apples and toss to coat thoroughly. Cover and cook
  about 5 minutes. Uncover and cook until apples are tender, about 5
  minutes longer, stirring gently now and then. Place around platter of
  Chicken Curry.
