I used to have one; she passed away some years ago.  She was my dad's
only sister.  One of f my cousins has it for a middle name, as does
another cousin's daughter.

We went with Ruth for Deborah--liked the sound of it. Rachel's middle
name is Elisabeth (yes, spelled with an s instead of a z). BTW, Deborah
was here from yesterday (about noon) until about an hour ago.  Took her
to a local bbq place yesterday but fed her cookies, fudge and home made
poultry soup today.

Found out our youth pastor was in grade school with the son of one
couple we knew in Frankfurt, now retired to Charlotte, NC. Our girls
were a bit older than the boys but because Steve and I were friends with
the parents, the girls would watch the other kids (boy and girl)
whenever we went out together.

Very much so! I would have had a hard time fitting in as a younger kid;
got a lot more self confident and surer of myself as I got into high
school and then away to college. But, every so often Steve will have to
tell me "yes, you CAN do that" if I'm hesitant.  Gotten into a number of
big projects that way. (G)

Yes but they have a chance to work some of it off over the Christmas
break. Then they wean off the sugar until Valentine's day (when kids
don't get that much candy anyway) and that usually is well over before
Easter hits.

And you'll be nice & let her. This is my "calm before the storm"; we
leave later this week for Nevada & Arizona.

Sounds good to me. Just don't indulge so often that you get to looking
the size of some of the folks I saw over there.
