Good!  I'm picking out little packets of taste teaser items, suitable for one
meal.  When you get the one with the long strings of greyish black, thats a
shredded dried mushroom.  (Not to worry, not 'magic mushroom, just normal type
out here).

I saw a darling little set of hair ties but Charlotte wasnt interested.  Little
waterfilled balls with itty bitty animals inside floating around.

No, never tried that!  I'd be curious though about it.  Cow stomach lining is
sold here dried in strips and added to soups in small chewy bits.  When I get
my 'rice porridge' (congee/juk) out there, thats one of the many things you
may find in there.  I know because I've asked.

That it would!  They'd like it though.  Especially the sauerkraut which they do
buy at the commisary all the time (local wives).  Just a standard one though
and no caraway.  It's the hot dogs that would be odd here <g>.

It's neither of those but it is a delicate lovely item.  I'll see if I can
google a picture and give a proper name.  The flavor is a bit like a spicy
lychee-peach with almost peppery undertones.  Kinda pricey but now and again
they are in season and drop in price so we get some.  They dont last long and
not entirely because we eat them up fast.  They just do not store long.

I've got it.  They look fairly close to an elongated apricot but the seed is
all wrong from what I recall of those and they are smaller.  I havent had an
apricot in a long time but doesnt it have a stone center almost like a peach?
These have a 2-3 nut center that is apparently edible (though we do not eat it
not being totally sure if it doesnt have to be cooked or treated somehow
first).

Naw, oddly the ships arent back in yet but they may be waiting for their turns
at the tug boats.
