My little brother has half a drink, and he's a goner. He tells
me that anyone who's not impaired by what I drink (I think he's

That's SOOO dumb and SOOO nasty.

Friendly's used to make a decent lime rickey, with a tot of
raspberry syrup thrown in for free on request.

French snapper sashimi
cat: fish, main
servings: 6

12 boneless fillets of rouget
-a kind of red snapper
1 orange bell pepper
1/2 cucumber
2 limes, juice of
2 branches lemon thyme
1 Tb mixed peppercorns
olive oil
fleur de sel

Rougets crus marinés au poivre

Rinse, core, and dice fine the pepper and cucumber.
Cut the fish into strips and put them on a flat
plate. Add the vegetables.

Whisk the lime juice with 3 Tb olive oil. Pour over
the fish.

Crush the peppercorns fine; destem the thyme.
Sprinkle these over the fish with some salt. Toss.
Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate 30 min
before serving. Accompany with thin slices of
grilled bread.
