Doesn't sound like fun to me. I didn't think a pear had that much acid
in it to cause a reaction.

Sounds about as smart as what my mom did after one of my younger sisters
had her tonsils out. My parents were big believers in tomato soup,
ginger ale and toast as foods for when we were sick so my mom fixed a
bowl of tomato soup for my sister's lunch.  Just before serving it, she
got a phone call from the hospital--one of the nurses was on the line
telling her NOT to give my sister acidic foods for a few days. WHEW! I
was in school so didn't know if it until just a few years ago.  That
meant my sister couldn't have the standard small glass of orange juice
in the morning for breakfast either.

I've never had any food sensitivities, just developed a dislike for
some.  Probably a good thing since I married into a family that loves
red sauce for Italian food--and eats lots of it. (G)

It just doesn't sound that appealing.  I have had my blood pressure meds
changed in the last few months so now, if I wanted, I can have grapfruit
juice in the morning with them.  So far I've stayed with orange juice
but it's nice to know I've the option.

Hmmmmmm, looks fishy---but good.

BTW, are you flying into Binghamton on pre picnic Thursday and do you
have a ride to Windor?  We will be close enough that we can do it,
freeing Janis from that.
