Ärende: keeping cool

I know the feeling; I've got a lot of things to do before we head out,
then more when we come back. When we get home, I'll have about 6 weeks
to work on baby things before heading out again.  Then it'll most likely
be getting ready for the big move.  So, some thngs that I'd love to do,
I'm just putting on hold for a while.

I didn't like those windows. We had the frosted ones which meant you
couldn't see out of them.  The only window in the kitchen didn't have a
good view anyway--our concrete courtyard with laundry lines. Even now,
the military did't give an interesting view out of the kitchen
window--the small side yard that currently needs a mowing.

If I thought about it, I probably could do it with most every place I've
lived too. (G) The kitchen in our quarters in TX had some features I'd
like to remember for when we (if we) eventually build a house.

He was doing some stitching (and "reverse stitching) the other night at
the Project Linus get together. (G) He's used the rotary cutter some but
prefers I do my own quilt cutting.

And the lanugage purists of the various countries get upset. But, it's
easier than trying to tangle your tongue around a French description (I
did read one once) of a Big Mac.  As for OK, the verbal my be common to
various languages but the visual (circle of thumb and index finger) I
understand to be not so polite in some cultures.
