Hmm.. did you tell the people at the place you're staying at that you have
Asthma?  Just wondering if they'll have an air-conditioner in there .... so you
can sleep..

It was pretty well known in the area I grew up in.. we were using carob powder
we'd get at specialty shops in Warwick (shops for herbs, spices, etc.). It was
really popular back then because it was so sweet compared to coco... and there
were a lot of people who were allergic to chocolate in our crowd.

Not long at all.. finding a good doctor is what took me forever though :( I
woke up one morning numb from the waist down.. went to one doctor who told me
it was because I was nursing and 'probably' had a folic acid defeciency (the
folic acid he prescribed helped (g)), he then he sent me to a neurologist when
the problem returned.  The neurologist did a number of blood tests (b12
defiency can mimic MS, so can Lyme Disease and some others). He did some other
eeky, painful tests in the hospital.. and there I was (g).  I've also read how
it takes some people forever to find out if they have it or not and it is sad.
Part of the problem I think, is some doctors don't consider it MS "for sure"
until certain symptoms show up - or perhaps some people have a number of
problems and MS is only one of them.

Yes, indeed.  My doc. in Manhatten told me that most people with MS have it
like I do, so that's also a good thing to hear.

I didn't count on them helping much to be honest.. don't forget they were so
small.  No, I knew I just had to deal with this and make it work .. for
everyone in our family. So I found other things to do with myself and my
sparetime, instead of acting as I mentioned to Burt here.. That's when I taught
myself to program.  That's also when I got into gardening and cooking (and we
were also pretty broke then (vbg)).

We brought home what we thought was a ton.. Ron and I finished it for lunch the
next day though, so maybe it wasn't as much as we'd thought..  :)

The Balsamic vinegar is the one you'd do best using if you weren't going to use
wine.  You could use red wine vinegar instead of course - depends on your
taste.  I find balsamic is much milder.
