Hi Ruth!
>> great. The plants are still in the bed so I'm hoping they keep

Yeah, can't hurt.

>> plants were still producing in November.. :) She lives in Jersey, so

>> were some little ones with spuds starting to sprout into the dirt ..

> keep things longer in the ground.

Yes, very close to where I grew up (Warwick) and where Ron and I lived for a
while. She is right in Macafe NJ if that means anything to you.. It's only
about 2 hours from here. We get down there now and then.

> Seems baby boys always have the curls and super long eye lashes. (G)

I know what you mean! It is really funny sometimes. Alex had the most
beautiful red hair when he was a baby.. until he was about 4 actually.

>> today" or, like today, "baby wants to eat lunch" (g). just too cute

And now you wonder how you kept up with her? That's how I feel when I see drew

yes, 'trusting threes' around the corner... terrible two's on the way out haha

>> Yes, defintitely ... but I forgot.. Crockett tells you to put an

> It works with other fruits as well.

Yes, it does.

> You were a year ahead of Steve and me.

Ok, that's what I figured (g).

>> January-February kids who had to wait a whole darn year to go to

> We were both 17 as my birthday is in July, Steve's is in October.

I always felt like the 'older kid' in school haha

> My older brother was at a Boy Scout camp in Sullivan County (office
> clerk). I didn't have to deal with his criticism of my cooking over the
> summer except on week ends. Just got the negative comments from my
> younger siblings.

Oh you can never make kids happy, that's what I always figured :)

>> well, my brother was next, then my last two sisters.. who were a
>> complete embarrasment time after time when you didn't want them around
>> (g). And I think they enjoyed getting me up at dawn, embarrassing me

> My younger brother did a good job of embarassing himself in front of
> Steve once. (G)

Was he trying to embarrass you and it backfired?

> My mom was gone for her summer school sessions but Dad came home for
> lunch, and of course, at the end of the work day. Generally things were
> in order whenever he was home in the evening.

Mom worked 7-3 and Dad slightly off hours.. but anyway, by the time Mom got
home, I was happy to hand the little umm kids off to her (g)

>> Airplane once, up close and personel at New Paltz college though ..And
>> Joplin in NYC at the Filmore East..

> I never saw any of them but lived thru it. (G)

Sure, we all did - and as I often say, by the grace of God, and I'm not
kidding.

>> cells.. way back we were counting per sq. inch, the actual number of
>> cells in the microscope's field of vision with your eye to the

>> out though, boom.. slide that in and let the computer figure the whole
>> slide.

> Some things change for the better, others don't. But there's nothing
> like the human touch, especially in the field of medicine.

I agree there.

>> > so I got the better end of the
>> > deal--getting a doctor that welcomed me.

>> boy.. that is good.

> It is; I really didn't want to be seen by somebody who didn't want to
> see me.

Definitely.. I can't imagine what it would be like to do so :(

Take care,
Janis
