But, some people are very much "by the book" in everything.  One of my
friends in HI was a science teacher but also quilted.  She always
enjoyed my "flights of fancy" in coming up with ways to enhance her
quilting projects.

We got into it because there were a few issues we were having trouble
with (the doctor wanting to start solids early for one).  The group
offered support and encouragement, as well as a good camaradery.

We got some formula samples with Rachel, left them at the hospital with
Deborah.

I was lucky enough to be a stay at home mom. Had some bottles (given by
Steve's mom) but didn't really use them. Started the girls with sippy
cups for juices once we knew better.

We had simple ones as well, usually only one or two other guests.
Rachel had a bigger party for turning 16 but Deborah declined.
