I will sometimes tie a bit of string to the bay leaves to 
make it easier to find them in a big pot. I use the 
disposable tea bags as well.

It was particularly bad for us, Anne's
cousin Kenny had an office in one of
the towers and he was teaching a 
class to importers that day down in
building 7 at the base of the towers.
Fortunate for him, he got out at the 
first impact and his secretary up in
his office did not survive. Anne also 
has several cousins who are NYC 
Police and some were "unaccounted" 
for for several days (they were 
working and not able to check in
with family) so it was quite tough 
for us.
