The field evidence would lead to the idea that it's cumulative ...

I spent $29.95 to $49.95 a set for various headphones, back
when the former was a good day's pay. When moving not so long
ago, I found some of these things moldering away: broke my
heart to toss them (I think I might have saved a pair of
Fishers in my storage unit for old times' sake).

Of course, then I had golden ears, and at our age, what with
exposure to (in your case) firearms and (in mine) trombones,
we're lucky to have ears at all.

Ah. Having just checked on the company site, I discover that the
SM and the SMwE (not officially SEM) are different. Do they charge
you extra for omitting the egg?

Okay, that makes a whole lot of sense, not. And points up my
issue with wikis. That being, in this context, that Humpty
Dumptyism isn't a great way to contribute to the sum total
of information on this planet. By the way, the first quote is
from Unwords; the second, from that Urban Dictionary professor
of linguistics I spake of earlier. 

Cereal pork
cat: main, found, killer
servings: 3

3 boneless pork portions (4-5 oz each)
1 egg
2 c multigrain Chex or similar, crushed
s, p
oil
1 sm apple, minced
1 sm onion, sliced thin
1/4 ts thyme
butter
1 Tb flour
1 c stock
1/4 ts thyme

Take the pig pieces and pound thin. Dredge in egg and then
crushed cereal seasoned with salt and a generous dose of
pepper. Fry in very hot oil, turning once, until browned and
crunchy on both sides. Remove and keep warm.

Meanwhile (or before), wilt apple and onion in a small
amount of butter, seasoning with thyme. Correct seasoning.

Pour off all but 1 Tb of oil from frying pan; add flour
and let brown a minute, stirring. Add stock. Season with
thyme. Bring to a boil and let simmer until of a saucy
consistency. A tablespoon or two of sherry, port, or
white wine might go well in this, but I didn't have any
handy.

Plate pork on warmed plates; top with apple mixture;
drizzle sauce over.

Coating things to be fried with crushed breakfast cereal
has a long history; it's become a big thing in Singapore,
where Nestum is used to make the famous cereal prawns
(aka butter prawns; though there may be some small
distinction between these, I find the terms interchangeably
used for pretty much the same dish).
