Personally, I don't care for fur at all. I met an ocecat the
other day. Very sleek and with fine short fur that would make
a nice jacket. I was told he was hypoallergenic, which turned
out to be untrue, especially after he bit me.

Duck Jambalaya
cat: Arkansas, game, main
servings: 6

2 ducks, breasts & legs
1 lb Sausage
1 lg onion, chopped
1 bn green onions, chopped
2 c celery, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
1 yellow pepper, chopped
4 cloves garlic, chopped
1 1/2 ts salt
1 ts black pepper
1 ts red pepper
3 c to 4 c chicken broth
1 bay leaf
1/2 c fresh parsley, chopped
15 oz can diced tomatoes
1 c white rice, uncooked

Remove breast and legs from duck. (Roast duck
carcasses at 400F for 1 hr. Then place in stockpot
with additional celery, onion, garlic and apple.
Simmer 2 hr to make broth. Strain and use broth in
recipe in place of canned chicken broth. Discard solid
ingredients May be done ahead of time and frozen.)
Put oil in deep skillet. Lightly brown duck. Remove
from skillet. Brown sausage. Remove from skillet. Add
onion, green onion, celery, green and yellow peppers and
garlic to skillet. Cook until soft. Place meat back
into skillet, add seasonings and parsley. Stir well.
Add tomato and 2 c broth. Simmer for 45 min to 1
hr. Add rice and 1 c broth and simmer another 20
min or until rice is done.
