Does that apply to connecting domestic travel where bottles can be
purchased after entering the country from a secure Duty Free shop?
Singapore allows that, providing the booze, perfumes, etc are bought
in the Singapore DF (smart businessmen).

Packing in among the clothes should be as good as anything.  If
any happening was violent enough to break the bottle then, that would
be the least of your troubles!

I recall some peculiarities occurring when trying to get booze near
Danvers, but you had obviously had experience in such matters.

I have just heard that a front wheel fell off a Virgin Blue 737 as it
was taxying out at Melbourne airport.  Broken axle, it was said.
