You have to wean from it slowly. The longer you're on it, the longer you
need to go to get off it.

Good; I had a short burst last year with bad bronchitis.

I know the feeling.

Steve is a label reader. One time I was put "on quarters" (couldn't go
anywhere outside the home) for the week end after a Friday appointment
with my doctor because of a bad case of bronchitis. I'd planned to go to
the commissary on Saturday as we needed quite a bit of stuff.  Instead,
Deborah went with Steve.  When they came home, she burst into the house
fussing "I'm never going to go shopping with Dad again! He has to stop
and read every single label of every thing we bought, even if it's
something we've been buying for years...............etc"  It hurt to
laugh but that's typical Steve.  OTOH, if we've been buying it for
years, and it's something that does't change, I just put it in the
buggy.  Rachel shops more like her dad; Deborah is more like me.  But,
Steve just wants to make sure it is still the same thing--and he has
found a few changes over the years that have made us change brands.
