haha.. it's funny, yes.. Sometimes Ron will say, Look at this.. and there he'll
have Lizzy or Leo sprawled across his chest while he's umm.. supposedly (grin)
working.   With me, I usually have Lola or Lulu or
both (and that IS funny to see) sitting behind be on my chair.. or on my lap..
it's funny how they pick people :) Leo sleeps with me though, and fights with
Lola for space haha

hehe.. learned that one alright (laugh).. That one was a surprise because I had
even forgotten it was on the shelf.. I take things for maybe months at a time
and then stop for one reason or another.. Well, now any glass bottles have
"left the premises" (g).  NOW their latest thing is chewing on network
cabling.. sadly I can't do anything but shoo them out of that one..I had to
hold Lola down like a new puppy.. I mean to show her I was in charge! the other
day.. what a trip that was.. she was actually hitting me when I scolded her.
She finally submitted though, so that was a good sign.  I have a feeling they
will not be like puppies and remember too awful long though, even though these
kittens seem exceptionally smart.

Oh yes, I know :)  Our Main Coon was essentially a height fanatic.. He had to
be on top of the utter highest object in the house.. including my Dining Room
Hutch (from the floor to the top!) and my refidgerator! If it was tall, he had
to sit up there and observe the dogs Lol.. I aways worried he was going to jump
on their backs for fun! haha but he was good.. he just liked to be up there and
watch everything :)

Yes, I bought them tons of cat toys.. literally :)  and what do they play with
every single day?  The twist-tie and label from a package of Swiss Chard I
bought at the health food store hahahaha.. it's their's.. we won't take it from
them .. :) I guess it's like kids playing with cardboard the day after
Christmas (grin)

So far so good.. 1 of them is doing really well. The other two not so good, but
that's ok.  I'm trying to figure the problem.. it's probably just the strange
weather this season.. too cold, too hot, too cold.. now hot again in Sept. :)

Glad I'm not a farmer for my substenence :)

==Swiss Chard and Bacon==
1 pkg. Swiss Chard or Kale
4 slices thick cut bacon, cut into 2" pieces 1/4 cup or more Balsamic vinegar
Salt if desired
1 clove garlic, smashed with flat side of knife

Remove excess stems or chop them into small pieces.  Chop the Kale or Chard up
into 2" pieces.  Put in a large soup pot and cover with water.  Add all
ingredients and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer on low for 30-40
minutes until stems are tender.
