Surgery scheduled for 14 Oct...dunno what time
of day yet, they'll let me know. Baseball will be
over so who cares? (grin) Did watch the M's 
beat the rangers last night in a drencher of a 
game...the final play before the umps decided 
that it was too wet to play involved our short
stop slipping all over the infield trying to get 
the ball to the second baseman...and the Ranger
runner starting his slide about 5 feet from the 
bag, and slipping right past it! It was the bottom
of the 9th so the umps were trying to get the 
game finished....but it was a gully washer coming 
down and finally they had to admit it. Today a 
double header right now Seattle trails 2-0 in the 
third.
